GABI SWIATKOWSKA
was born in Poland but moved to New York at 16. She is an artist, musician, and children's book author and illustrator.

Gabi is an award-winning illustrator, garnering honors such as an ALA Notable Book, a Junior Library Guild selection, a New York Times Best Illustrated Book, and a Bank Street Best Children’s Book of the Year. Her books have been published in multiple languages. She won the Ezra Jack Keats award for her illustrations in MY NAME IS YOON, which is included on the New York Public Library list of 100 Great Children’s Books.
